Something's out there. And we're not allowed to see it. In the absence of sight, use radar, drones, and gut instinct to make your way behind enemy lines and under the radar of distant foes. Maybe you have what it takes where other pilots fell short

On the once-thriving planet of Icarus 1, a new threat has emerged from unknown sources. The military has scrambled all of its military assets to push this presumed alien force off of its planet. Yet, with everything we throw at them, the enemy only grows stronger.

No soldier has laid eyes on the enemy and lived to tell the tale. Hence, the engineering team has welded over your cockpit windows, leaving you blind save for your instruments and your skill as a pilot.

Really solid game!
As others have mentioned, really got the Iron lung vibes which I believe it was going for.
Voice acting/lines were top tier and did make me chuckle a couple times and the art style was very fitting for the locations, with some excellent models.
The one small down side I have was the tutorial; cause although it was graphically impressive and the voice lines were good in the tutorial, I don't think it did a great job in communicating to me 1. How buttons worked 2. In what situations the buttons would be useful.

Regardless once I actually started figuring things out through trial and error the core gameplay was really fun. Really keeping me on edge as I slowly moved through map trying my hardest not to get spotted. The extra resource management also really helped added to the heighted tension.

TLDR: Solid 7.5/10, and I can't wait to see what the creator has next in store.

Pretty neat! Little reminiscent of Iron Lung, which isn't a bad thing whatsoever. Voice acting was great, everything was fairly clear from a visual standpoint and the controls felt good to use. The only downside for me was the tutorial: it's hard for me to process lots of words without subtitles or written text, so the fact that the only explanation of the controls came in the form of dialogue you need to quit out of the level to access meant there was a bit of fumbling around not knowing what to do on my end - I don't think I even used the big red button in the middle at all. It wasn't too difficult once I did learn how everything worked, though, so I can't complain too much.

Good game overall, solid 7/10 :)

Pretty good little game, and the voice acting is on point. Once I realized I needed to hit spacebar, to get to the screen with the buttons and switches, the game went pretty smoothly from there and I really enjoyed it.

It kind of feels like your in a submarine rather than an aircraft, avoiding sonar buoys and dodging eldritch creatures deep underwater. By the end I was getting pretty into it, and it left me wanting more. The narrative also really gets the imagination going, and leaves you really thinking about what happened. All good things, would absolutely recommend playing it.

Pros:

Excellent vibes. I feel like I'm using a ship from old hard science fiction where I have to be constantly pressing buttons, making calculations and such in my head instead of having some wild space battle with turrets and the like. Not being able to see what's happening out there, and having to rely on a narrator is very Iron-lung like, I appreciate that approach, letting the mystery of what's being seen by someone else/unseen by you be the horror.

Cons:

I've noticed that occasionally as soon as I hit the second light (In enemy sights), it jumps to number 3 right away and I have a split second before I'm just dead. The tutorial has multiple spots that all play the same audio, and while it contains some of the pieces, I wish I didn't have to listen to the "See these three lights up in the corner?" Spiel on each one, you feel me?But yeah, overall that's something I'd shell out a few bucks for, and being able to nab for free is just icing on the cake (I spent $5 on it anyways)

Loved learning all of the controls, fiddling and trying out buttons to understand how everything works - it gave the game a real challenge.

The storyline leaves just enough to the imagination to leave you theorising and wanting more of it! I will not delve into spoiler territory but I will say that the ending is worth it!

The sense of satisfaction I felt and relief from completing each level due to tensions being high made the game so much more rewarding and fun.

The atmosphere, sound design and voice acting and the game development as a whole were all immaculate and I cannot wait to see more games coming from these guys!! Absolutely amazing work!

Fumbling never felt so fun. Fiddling with the controls and exploring the interface is incredibly satisfying despite dying over and over. The difficulty doesnt get in the way of the experience at all and instead enhances it, accomplishing something in this game feels like a real triumph.
